Colorado State University: Victim Advocacy Certificate Course
This intensive program is designed to train and qualify students to provide assistance to crime victims, both inside and outside of the courtroom. Participants will be prepared to work with state and county governments as advocates for crime victims, assisting them in progressing through the criminal justice system and toward successful recovery. Course topics include legal terminology, legal process, jurisdiction and venue, ethics, guardianships, crisis intervention, sexual assault, domestic violence, grief counseling, temporary restraining orders, and community counseling.

Masters Certificate: Domestic Violence Prevention
Offered online by the University of Massachusetts Lowell Graduate Program. A 12 credit certificate. The existing degree programs in Criminal Justice, Community Social Psychology, and the programs in the School of Health and Environment each offer relevant courses which facilitate their graduates working with agencies and clients affected by domestic violence. This certificate provides a focused program for those working in settings where domestic violence is an issue.

Domestic Violence Training Program
Offered online by the Simmons School of Social Work.
This is a self-paced domestic violence training program geared to social workers at all levels of experience. The course and materials are available free online. Students wishing to receive 3 CEs through the NASW Massachusetts Chapter can submit CE fees for certificates.

Center for Legal Studies: Victim Advocacy Certificate Course
This program is designed to train and qualify students to provide assistance to crime victims, both inside and outside of the courtroom. Participants will be prepared to work with state and county governments as advocates for crime victims, assisting them in progressing through the criminal justice system and toward successful recovery. Additionally, participants will learn advocate skills necessary to work hands-on with victims of crime in settings such as domestic violence shelters and rape crisis clinics. Successful participants will be assisted with placement in a volunteer position in their community if they desire.

National Youth Court Center Training Online
The National Youth Court Center has online training lessons, audio teleconferences, and video teleconferences to assist youth volunteers in youth courts in performing their youth court roles more effectively.

Vision International University
You may work toward professional certificates in Pastoral and Domestic Violence Counseling by enrolling in the Save our Families Series of courses, which may be an enhancement to your professional practice or a Christian Counselor or you may continue toward a degree in Christian Counseling . Vision International Network is an authorized continuing education provider, PCE #1191, by the State of California, California Board of Behavioral Science Examiners.
